bitpayOne problem that many Bitcoin users are bound to experience at one time or another is them being able to turn their Bitcoin holdings into a fiat currency.

Due to the volatility of most if not all cryptocurrencies when for example Bitcoin drops significantly in price at any one-time digital currency exchanges can often go into meltdown and some of them may go offline until the markets stabilize.

As such turning Bitcoin into your local fiat currency can be not only hard to do sometimes, but it can also be very expensive to do too, for all digital currency exchanges have additional fees and charges that you are going to have to pay when performing any type of digtial wallet transaction.

If you do make use of an exchange and have requested your Bitcoin be turned into any fiat currency then you are often forced to have to wait days for your funds to arrive in your bank account when requesting a bank wire or a bank transfer, and often the bank charges an additional fee when receiving such transactions too.

However, there is a solution, and that is by making use of one of the many different companies that are now offering a debit card that you can top up using your Bitcoin digital wallet. There are plenty of them available but one that is proving to be very popular with users of that digital currency is the BitPay prepaid Visa debit card.

Using the BitPay Visa Debit Card

The BitPay prepaid debit card is very easy to apply for online, and whilst there are fees and charges for getting the card and performing transactions with that card, to be fair they are in line with most other credit and debit cards, and as such you are not going to be paying way too much regarding accessing your funds.

One thing that you will also benefit from that card as well as being able to withdraw funds form any ATM is that you can use it at any retrial outlet or to pay for goods and services anywhere that Visa is accepted.

So, you can of course use it online or in nay country of the world. It will take you less than a minute to sign up to use BitPay and your card should arrive in a matter of days too. In fact, if you want to have an additional card holder linked up to your account then that is something you can be able to do.

When you wish to top up your BitPay prepaid Visa card you can do so by simply transferring Bitcoin into your BitPay account, and those funds will they become available to you on your Visa card and you will be able to use those funds straight away. Being a Visa card, you do of course have all the usual protection offered when buying goods or paying for services using that card, which is worth knowing.
